Kauaʻi Food Bank Food Drive

Holo Holo Teams Up With Kauaʻi Independent Food Bank’s 2024 Holiday Food & Fund Drive

Kauaʻi food drive

Calling all Holo Holo guests and Kauaʻi residents! We humbly ask for all hands on deck and YOUR kōkua to fight hunger on Kauaʻi.

Kauaʻi Independent Food Bank runs its annual Holiday Food & Fund Drive from October 1-December 31, 2024. This year’s goal is to raise 75,000 pounds of food AND $75,000. All food and monetary contributions will stay here on Kauaʻi, directly reducing hunger in our local communities.

With 12% of people on Kauaʻi struggling with food insecurity, unsure of where their next meal will come from, and 1 in 5 keiki facing hunger on our island, it is more imperative than ever before that we come together and bring actionable solutions to one of the most pressing issues on Kauaʻi. (1)

Your non-perishable food donations (please see the needs list below) will significantly impact our local communities during this holiday season and beyond. This is the perfect opportunity to give our friends, families, and neighbors what’s needed most right now.

Please drop off your items by November 20, 2024, at Holo Holo Charters Shop Headquarters, 4353 Waialo Rd #5a, Eleʻele, HI 96705.

Donation drop-off is open Monday-Sunday, from 7am-6pm.

Most Needed (Non-Perishable) Food Items:

  • Rice & grains
  • Pasta & pasta sauces
  • Soups & stews
  • Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, Spam, etc.)
  • Canned fruits & vegetables
  • Hot & cold cereals
  • Seed/nut butter & tahini
  • Powdered & shelf-stable milk

Anything is possible when we come together, give selflessly from the heart, and help one another. It takes a village (or an island) to create lasting change. We can do this!

Mahalo nui loa for your kōkua and efforts to eliminate hunger on Kauaʻi. Wishing you and yours an abundant holiday season filled with food, joy, warmth, and peace.
