Holo Holo Charters enjoys hosting student groups annually during peak humpback whale season. Six wonderful schools participated this year for a marvelous two-hour Keiki Marine Life Excursion. This incredible outdoor educational experience provided the students with a deeper understanding and appreciation for our humpback whales and other precious marine life. It’s a fantastic way for them to learn more about our island’s marine ecosystems and habitats.

This year, we organized our 3rd annual art contest to go along with our Marine Life Excursion. The kids, ages 5-13, have submitted their entries, and now, we’re asking for your help in choosing a winner.

Students have submitted their artwork, and it will be made available virtually for viewing and voting online starting March 1^st through March 14^th. We will announce the winners on March 18, 2024.

For many students, our Marine Life Excursion is their very first offshore experience and who knows this field trip could inspire a child’s future in marine biology or conservation. Or perhaps a career on the water, maybe one of these youngsters will come work with us someday?!

Bottom line, we strive to impart on them our enthusiasm for the ocean and hope they’re able to join in our collective sense of awe and respect for all marine life. The joy on their innocent faces makes these student excursions one of the most fun and rewarding ways that our company gives back to the community.

Artwork has been separated into two groups based on grade. When the voting period ends, the top artwork in each group will be awarded.

Group 1:  Kindergarten, 1^st & 2^nd Grade Students

Group 2:  3^rd, 4^th, 5^th & 6^th Grade Students

The 1^st place winners will receive a gift certificate for 2 on Holo Holo Charter’s Nāpali Sunset Dinner Tour!  Our 2^nd and 3^rd place winners will also receive prizes.
